Treatments
Shiro Abhyanga
It comes as a specific treatment as well as a part of Dina Charya (Daily regimen) for vata related disorders specially affecting head, sense organs & for other psychosomatic disorders.
Vaktra Abhyanga
It is done with repetitive finger movements along each wrinkle of face & underlying facial muscles to relieve the tensions of face & further for facial rejuvenation.
Pada Abhyanga
The feet are very important part in our body as it contains many nerve endings. Foot massage releases negative energy from these marmas. So padabhyanga is central to our health and wellbeing.
Foot Reflexology
Applying pressure on feet in order to make a physical change in body. Feet have reflex areas those correspond internal organs of body. By applying a pressure each specific organ is stimulated. This treatment is very beneficial for several ailments specially sleeping disorders.
Hastha Abhyanga
There are areas in our hands that are associated with various organs & systems within the body. The Hastha Abhyanga concentrates on stimulating these acupuncture points & energy meridians in order to help the body easily manage extra toxins.
Sarvangadhara
Stream pouring or showering of warm medicated oil over the body. This treatment comes as a sudation/fomentation type of procedure. This is a very effective remedy for many physical ailments as well as for relieving mental stress.
Uro Abhyanga
The neck & shoulder muscles are prone to stiffness & tension and these symptoms can
be relieved with an ayurvedic massage. It revitalizes the neck and shoulder by improving blood circulation, helps in relieving stiffness, and assists in osteopathic treatments.
Kati Abhyanga
Ayurvedic back massage is concentrated on the spine region and the marma points. A
great source of stress relief, the Kati Abhyanga reduces pain and helps in relaxing muscles thus enhancing the performance of the entire nervous system.
Neck & Back Massage
Herbal oils are massaged in to the entire, neck & back area with stimulating marma points. Is deeply relaxing and helps release muscular spasms and tension
Sambahana
Sambahana involves a complete body massage using individually selected herbal oil. It’s ideal for many body ailments such as muscle tightness, dry skin, emotional stress related body aches etc.
Udwarthana
The powder massage is performed by massaging the body against the direction of the hair follicles in order to cleanse the skin and increase circulation in the body while breaking down fat storage. It’s also known for its contribution to weight loss and its ability to clear clogged impurities.
Navarakizhi
A deep cleansing treatment using rice cooked in milk and herbs that is massaged into the tissues and joints. The treatment is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating as well as powerfully detoxifying.
Steam bath
Vashpa Swedha is a sweat-inducing therapy that helps in detoxification. The person undergoing therapy sits in a box, with their head out. The box is filled with steam produced herbs enhance the effect of the steam while it leaves skin feeling supple and nourished.
Pottali sweda
This is a form of sweating/sudation treatment done by stamping herbal bolus over the body. It is effective in relieving pains and related conditions and strengthen & rejuvenate joints, muscles and soft tissues.
Herbal Bath
Patient is made to sit in a tub that has been infused with herbs which soothe the muscles, softens skin, improves circulation, cleanses the skin, eliminates toxins & combats a number of skin conditions among other benefits.
Shirodhara
Pouring the liquid medicines in stream over the forehead of the patient for a specific time period. The therapy induces a relaxed state of awareness that results in a psychosomatic balance. Intense feelings of wellness, mental lucidity, and comprehension are experienced in the Shirodhara treatment.
Pichu
Pichu therapy is one of the effective therapy mainly used to treat the diseases of the head, spine, cranial nerves and knee. In a Pichu treatment you will undergo an application of special oil soaked in cotton wool in related area.
